The Lace dress
The holidays are coming up, we have weddings (and if we don’t I’m sure we’ll be invited to one soon!), parties and either way we’re going to have to leave the house at some point! These are all perfect excuses for us to wear lace dresses! The lace dress is the perfect way to add some glamour into our lives. Whether you love a black dress or enjoy making a bold statement in a bright colour, there’s a lace dress out there for everyone!
Lace is a recurring trend that designers bring back season after season and Paris fashion week was full of it! Designers like Dior, Armani Privé and Ralph & Russo bringing indulgent looks with layered lacing. We may not be able to always wear Dior’s crystal encrusted lace panels but lace is a trend that we can’t ignore! Often lace is seen as a trend that cannot be done modestly and therefore is avoided by so many! This, however is not always the case, a lace overlay adds stunning detail to a dress and doesn’t have to be skimpy, provocative or transparent… ModLi shows us how the trend can be incorporated into a modest dress code to create a luxuriously elegant look!
Here are our 5 ModLi favourite Lace dresses:
