Mila Kunis apparently loves the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so much that she once considered joining the cast. But when she told her husband, Ashton Kutcher, he was less than enthusiastic about the idea. Here’s how he reacted when she shared the news.
Kunis revealed his reaction in a new interview
On Oct. 7, the Bad Moms actress appeared on Andrea Savage’s A Grown-Up Women podcast, where she reflected on the conversation she had with Kutcher about potentially joining the Bravo series.
“I did ask my husband once, I was like, listen. Later, in like 20 years, 30 years, what do you think of me going on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? I’m like, just for like, a year. He was like… I would kill you,” she said.
Later in the interview, Kunis played a round of “Marry, Shag, Kill” Housewives edition. But this time, it was called “Make Love, Marry, Murder.”
“I don’t want to offend anybody,” she said before the game kicked off. “They all seem very lovely.”
But she ultimately said she would marry Mauricio Umansky, make love to Harry Hamlin, and murder PK Kemsley. When it came to the women on the show, she shared equally funny answers.
“I would murder Dorit Kemsley. She seems very high maintenance and she would be very expensive to get married to. We’re on a budget,” Kunis teased. “I would marry Kyle Richards and then I would have fun with Lisa Rinna. I feel like Lisa Rinna is a little more feisty. She would be really fun for a night.”
Why she likes the Housewives
It’s safe to say that anyone who watches the show likes it for all the drama, but Kunis also said that she adores how “normal” the cast members appeared in real life.
“We didn’t talk. They were with their kids, and they were doing like crossword puzzles, or like just being like cool parents,” Kunis continued. “And all kidding aside, I was like, ‘Oh my God, look at them being like, real parents.’ And I was so impressed, to this day, at how normal they were on this Southwest flight, with their kids doing like puzzles and crossword puzzles. It was dope.”
It seems likely that Kunis will not be joining the show, but she would fit in if she did. She and Kutcher are also the proud parents of two children: Wyatt Isabelle, 5, and Dimitri Portwood, 2.
But for now, she’s focused on her personal life and her career. The That ’70s Show actress had a major makeover in September of 2019, switching her signature brunette hair to blonde locks with blue tips.
She’s also starring in an upcoming film called Four Good Days, a drama about a mother helping her daughter recover from substance abuse.
So, get ready to see her on the big screen. But, again, you probably shouldn’t expect to see her on a reality show any time soon.
