Tesla is cutting salaries and furloughing workers to ‘manage costs’ during pandemic

With its US factories and offices shut down due to the novel coronavirus, Tesla is now cutting full-time employees’ pay through the end of June and placing hourly workers on unpaid leave. It’s the latest sign of economic stress being caused by the pandemic.
